Puto bumbong

What I want for Christmas:

If you have spent most of your life in Cebu, it's likely you haven't had a taste of puto bumbong yet. Really, I can't believe that a popular kakanin in Manila has not reached Cebu shores yet. Everytime I see a puto bumbong feature on tv, I salivate and wonder why nobody has not thought of bringing the puto bumbong business here in Cebu. If I have the resources, meaning the capital, I would go to Manila, hire some of those vendors, and set up my own stall in Cebu. It's high time we Cebuanos have a taste of that kakanin. It's just unfair that only those living in Luzon can enjoy this highly sensationalized delicacy.

I'm not sure but I think the 'popularity' of puto bumbong is confined in certain areas in the Philippines. I've never tasted nor seen puto bumbong except on pictures. I am from north Luzon but puto bumbong isn't really the talk of the town here even in Christmas. LOL

really kris? that's so funny. to think that i envied all the people in luzon believing you guys have the access to some food we don't have here in cebu. if that's the case, we're even pala. hehe.
