Mr. Darcy

Recently, I couldn't seem to get enough of the movie Pride and Prejudice after seeing it for the first time during my Christmas break. And to think that I was initially hesitant on watching it as I had expected it to be boring, being a period film and all. But I was totally mistaken especially after seeing Matthew Macfadyen's portrayal of Mr. Darcy. He was the reason why I still feel butterflies in my stomach everytime I watch P&P. By the way, yesterday was my fifth time to watch the film.

The movie was an adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, which I haven't read. Mr. Darcy is an aristocrat who fell in love with the highly-opinionated Lizzie Bennet, played by the ravishing Keira Knightley. Their love story depicts how being proud and prejudicial can prevent people from being totally happy in relationships. My favorite part in the movie was the last scene wherein Macfadyen was softly whispering "Mrs. Darcy" into Lizzie's ear. If I was the one doing Keira's part in that particular scene, I would have died a happy woman.

Mr. Macfadyen has just no idea of how he had bewitched me body and soul.

Rush hour

Yes, I think I am in love.

Well, almost.

Finally, after such a long time, I am experiencing how it is to feel “kilig” all over again.

And it’s all because of Princess Hours, the new Korean series being shown at ABS-CBN every night.

Gosh, I’ve never been this exhilarated about rushing home after my shift each night before.
